Refugee Advocate Role

This role is ideal for students with a law degree who are undertaking a course for practical admission as a lawyer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify legal precedents and relevant legislation.
  • Draft statements that accurately represent clients' situations.
  • Observe and assist with client appointments to understand their experiences.
  • Accompany lawyers to client meetings and DoHA interviews to gain insight into the decision-making process.
  • Perform various administrative and legal tasks to support the team's work.

Requirements:

  • Be enrolled in, or about to enroll in, the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at College of Law.
  • Be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
