Job Title: Internal Communications Manager

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team at Teachers Health. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal communications strategy that enhances engagement and drives business outcomes.

About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity for a full-time or part-time candidate (3 days a week). As Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing an internal communications strategy that aligns with the organization's vision and goals
  • Creating and delivering engaging internal communications content across various channels, including email, intranet, and social media
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide communications support and advice for the development of engaging, strategically aligned content
  • Supporting the CEO and Leadership team with internal communications requirements and building trusted relationships to source content and develop key messages
  • Planning and coordinating the production of internal communications materials, including emails, announcements, and content across various channels
  • Driving engagement and usage of the organization's internal communications channel, Heart Home
  • Planning and executing a communications plan for LinkedIn to establish and drive a strong brand/business presence
  • Coordinating with the Marketing/Communications team to align internal communications with external messaging
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum eight years' experience in a communications or internal communications role
  • Confidence to partner with and advise senior stakeholders
  • Understanding of private health insurance and how it works (desirable)
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skills, coupled with the ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities
