Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee commercial construction projects in Melbourne.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project planning and programming, as well as excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

Carelli Constructions provides design, construction, and project management services for commercial and industrial projects across metropolitan Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safe and efficient construction methodologies.
  • Coordinate sub-contractors and trades.
  • Manage quality and WHS compliance.
  • Report site progression and outcomes to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project programmes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and client partners.
  • Lead and mentor staff effectively.
Requirements and Skills

To be successful, candidates must:

  • Hold a current driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Have a current building and construction industry induction card (White Card).
  • Be self-motivated with a high work ethic.
  • Have proven building knowledge and experience in a similar role (5 years +).
  • Be willing to adapt to tasks and conditions.
  • Have a strong understanding of project planning and programming.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Have strong health and safety experience and knowledge of OH&S laws.
  • Be able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Have a good understanding of the building industry.
  • Have experience in delivering high-end fitout, refurbishment, or new build commercial projects ($3m+).
  • Hold a trade background in carpentry and/or building.
  • Be able to lead, plan, and manage onsite resources.
  • Have experience using MS Projects.
  • Must have the right to live and work in Australia.
