Job Title: Health Services Director

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Health Services Director to lead our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality healthcare services to vulnerable families in South West Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a dynamic service with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring cultural integrity and strong clinical governance.
  • Establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve access to health services for Aboriginal families.
  • Embed culture in practice and uphold cultural integrity within clinical governance.
About the Team

The Aboriginal Child and Family Service has a large multidisciplinary team comprising Aboriginal Health Workers, Child and Family Nurses and Allied Health professionals. A leadership team exists that includes the Service Manager, Nursing Unit Manager and Social Work Team Leader responsible for ensuring cultural integrity and strong clinical governance.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Post graduate qualifications in health or social science areas or relevant work experience.
  • Outline how your work and life experience as an Aboriginal person has shaped your approach to culturally strong care for Aboriginal children and families.
  • Provide an example of a time when you managed a complex team structure, describing leadership approach, collaboration and outcomes.
