About the Project

John Holland, a leading construction company, is set to commence design and construction work for the Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package.

This ambitious $1.63 billion project involves constructing 3.5-kilometre tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and the Sydney CBD.

The package includes the excavation of Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations, requiring skilled professionals to oversee the tunnel boring machines as they cross the harbour near the Anzac Bridge.

The Role:

We are seeking applications for various positions in this high-profile project, including Boilermaker, TBM Operator, Tunneller, Ring Builder, Franna/Crane Operator, Dogman/Rigger, Gantry Crane Operator, Grout operator/Grouter, and Segment Handler.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess trade qualifications, relevant up-to-date tickets, and experience in tunnelling and major projects.

A strong ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels, good communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of OH&S protocols are also essential.
