Senior Contract Operations Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join our operations in Australia & Asia Pacific West. This is an opportunity to grow with our expanding team, part of our strategic growth plan for 2025 and beyond. Based in Perth CBD, this is an initial 6-month contractor role and is available on a permanent full-time / part-time (job share) basis.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing project subcontract operations and co-ordination of interface activities in accordance with company and project requirements. You will also be required to execute post award subcontract activities during construction phase in the field where applicable.

Field administration of all construction and services contracts in accordance with applicable corporate and project requirements, systems, procedures, budgets and schedules will be another important aspect of your role. Regularly monitoring and reporting of progress of activities for which you are responsible will also be expected.

• Hold a degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Commerce, Supply Chain / Logistics from a recognised institution.
• Have RICS qualification or industry equivalent and at least 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Heavy Industrial sectors of the Construction industry.
• Demonstrate experience in industry best practices supply chain principles and techniques.
• Have detailed knowledge of suppliers, commercial evaluations, negotiations, terms and conditions of contract and industry forms of subcontract.
• Be commercially astute with a solutions mindset and sound management of risk, consistent with safety and commercial requirements.
• Be customer-focused with ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence to contribute to the competitive advantage.
