Job Title: Ict Security ManagerAbout the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in our organisation's information security posture. As an ICT Security Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and maturing our security program to ensure we meet complex compliance and regulatory obligations in a dynamic threat landscape.

We are looking for a proactive and influential contributor who can embed a robust culture of security awareness and best practice throughout all levels of the organisation. This role requires a strong understanding of IT security principles, as well as excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and mature our information security posture to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines to support our security program
  • Utilise ICT security monitoring and threat detection tools to identify and mitigate potential threats
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams to drive the security agenda forward and improve security awareness among staff
  • Provide training and coaching to improve staff skill levels and security awareness
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in IT security, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' professional experience in IT security or a complementing role
  • Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Experience utilising ICT security monitoring and threat detection tools
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to listen and adapt communication style to audience needs
  • Proven ability to train and coach staff to improve their skill levels and security awareness
