The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, SA Health, is seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join our team at the Riverland Community Health Service.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service for clients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by answering inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face.
  • Managing correspondence by ensuring timely collection, receipt, acknowledgement, and distribution of both electronic and hard-copy correspondence.
  • Maintaining records and files by managing and maintaining medical and corporate records.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks by undertaking word processing, desktop publishing, and preparation of letters, minutes, and other documents.
  • SUPPORTING COLLEAGUES by assisting senior team members with various administrative tasks and helping maintain an organised office environment.
Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in administrative support, including previous experience providing administrative and clerical support services.
  • Strong customer service skills, with demonstrated ability to engage professionally with clients, visitors, and staff.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of people.
  • Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate and work positively with others in a team environment.
  • Computer skills, with high level of competency in office administration, word processing, and data entry.
  • Attention to detail, with proven ability to manage records and handle confidential information appropriately.
