Mathematical Modeling Research Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Fellow in mathematical modeling. The successful applicant will contribute to the development and analysis of novel nonlinear, multiphysics, and multiscale PDE systems modelling the electromechanics of the heart and torso.

The research project focuses on numerical discretisations for multiphysics PDEs, particularly in finite element methods and computational models for biomedical applications. We seek a candidate with expertise in this area, specifically in developing and implementing numerical methods for solving complex mathematical problems.

As a Research Fellow, you will work closely with Professors Santiago Badia and Ricardo Ruiz Baier to advance our understanding of the underlying mathematical principles and develop innovative solutions for real-world problems.
