Job Description

As a key member of the Allied Health Research Team, you will lead strategic workforce planning and development, education, and research across the district. This exciting opportunity is your chance to make a lasting impact on the future of healthcare.

The Role: An opportunity has become available for an expert in allied health research to drive innovative models of care, recruitment strategies, and workforce solutions to ensure supply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive framework for coordinated workforce planning and development, education, and research for allied health professionals.
  • Lead, develop, implement, and evaluate cutting-edge models of care, recruitment strategies, and workforce solutions to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Cultivate collaboration with tertiary institutions to maximize a work-ready allied health workforce.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A qualification in one of the following fields: Audiology, Cardiac Science, Dental, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Environmental Health, Music Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, Neurophysiology, Occupational Therapy, Oral Health Therapy, Orthoptics, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology, Radiography, Respiratory Science, Sleep Technician and Science, Social Work, Sonography, or Speech Pathology.
  • A proven track record of research and/or higher degree in research qualification.
  • Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body.
