We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team.

Job Description

As a Community Support Worker, you will provide individualized support to people with disabilities, empowering them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

  • Support individuals to develop skills and build capacity, enabling them to engage in all aspects of life.
  • Provide community access and support participation in social, recreational, civic, and vocational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure individualized support.

  • Collaborate with customers, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders to deliver person-centered care.
  • Build strong relationships based on trust, empathy, and effective communication.
  • Foster a supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support (preferred) or relevant experience.
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence (minimum P2) and comprehensive car insurance.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (paid worker).
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete).
