About the Role- This position will focus on leading engineering analysis to define technical requirements for distributed energy resources (DER).
- Collaboration with industry stakeholders will be key to developing solutions supporting a power system with high levels of DER.
- The successful candidate will lead projects addressing power system challenges from increasing DER, including standards, compliance, and evolving behaviors.
- They will drive collaboration and stakeholder engagement, providing strategic advice for an integrated approach.
- Multidisciplinary teams will be coordinated to develop positions on technical requirements.
- Reports, recommendations, and presentations will be prepared that translate complex technical issues for executives, boards, and external stakeholders.
- Technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and supporting key initiatives under the Engineering Roadmap to 100% Renewables are expected.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Technology, Science, or Maths (with a power system focus), or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects in distributed energy.
- Skills in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing high-quality technical documentation and reports.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and summarize complex data and insights.
- Effective communication across diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Proactive, outcome-focused, and able to build constructive relationships.
