About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for an Anaesthetist to lead clinical services in one of NSW's most popular and scenic locations. We are seeking an exceptional professional with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Lead clinical services in pre-operative assessments, acute and chronic pain management, and anaesthetic support for labour and delivery.
  • Contribute to clinical leadership and operational management to shape the future of anaesthetic services.
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Expertise: Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines for anaesthetic services. Provide expert advice on complex cases and collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Leadership and Governance: Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning to drive service excellence. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Education and Training: Mentor junior staff members and provide educational programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.

About the Location

We are based in a popular tourist destination, one of Australia's oldest and most famous wine regions. This location boasts one of the largest river valleys in the entire state, surrounded by stunning highland areas.

Requirements

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA), or equivalent. Anaesthetists eligible for the fast-track registration pathway are encouraged to apply.
