About the Role
The Deputy Principal plays a key role in leading the school community, working closely with the Principal to develop and implement educational strategies that focus on quality learning outcomes for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Principal in developing a shared educational vision for the school community.
- Support the Principal in implementing daily operations of the school.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life by promoting inclusivity and respect.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance through regular feedback and coaching.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in education.
- Form strong partnerships with parents, government agencies, community groups, industry, and business to enhance educational opportunities.
Requirements:
- Leadership experience in a similar educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Highly organized and proactive approach to work.
