Postdoctoral Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team as part of an international research project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality research in relevant areas of paleoenvironmental change and coral reef ecosystem responses
  • Analyze data and samples, synthesize results, and curate datasets for publication
  • Lead the preparation of peer-reviewed publications relevant to project objectives
  • Support teaching activities and contribute to the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students

About You:

  • Hold a PhD (or near completion) in geoscience
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research under limited supervision
  • Expertise in geochemistry, carbonate sedimentology, paleoecology, numerical modeling, relational database design, and geological data science
  • Strong track record of publications in leading scientific journals and effective communication
  • Proficiency in one or more coding languages (e.g., Python, R, Matlab)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a research team
