Regional Mental Health Nurse Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance to deliver comprehensive mental health care across various settings, including community, inpatient, and acute units.

As a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing daily assessments, administering medication, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key aspects of the job include:

  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific needs of patients.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and monitor patients for any adverse effects.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive patient care.
  • Communication: Engage with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in mental health nursing.
  • Skills: Excellent communication abilities, ability to work collaboratively within teams, and willingness to commit to travel nursing contracts in regional/remote areas for at least 12 weeks.
