About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Workplace Relations & Safety Lawyer to join our thriving Sydney-based team. About the Team:
The Gorilla Jobs' national Workplace Relations & Safety team is consistently ranked among the top employment and safety practices in Australia. This dynamic team is led by industry-recognised Partners and represents some of the country's most prominent employers across sectors including government, retail, energy, professional services, and sport.
About the position:
This role requires a minimum 5 years PAE in workplace relations and/or safety law. The successful candidate will have proven experience in both advisory and litigious employment matters, be confident in managing files autonomously from instruction to resolution, possess strong client relationship skills with a commercial mindset, and have experience supervising and mentoring junior team members. We offer a fantastic opportunity to work on sophisticated files with nationally significant clients, while developing your leadership, mentoring junior lawyers, and driving client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Managing redundancy and termination strategies
- Restraint of trade disputes and discrimination claims
- Health and safety investigations, prosecutions, and risk mitigation
