Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team in Cairns. As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for managing timely and high-quality environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans. You will lead a range of projects across various industries such as Energy, Transport and Water, and assist in the organisation of resources, budgets, and timelines for the management of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans.
  • Lead projects across various industries such as Energy, Transport and Water.
  • Assist in the organisation of resources, budgets, and timelines for the management of projects.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.

Requirements

  • Ideally, approx. 5 - 15 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Environmental impact assessment experience across a number of market sectors.
  • Strong team player, influencer, and collaborator.
  • Confidence in translating technical information into accessible language in written work and other communications.
