We are seeking a highly skilled Coordinator to join our team, supporting the delivery of secretariat services.

The Role:

This APS6 Coordinator position plays a vital role in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness within our agency.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Managing statutory body service delivery, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Coordinating travel, accommodation, and meeting logistics, streamlining processes for enhanced productivity.
  • Contributing to financial management, operational arrangements, and committee support, ensuring alignment with agency goals.
  • Providing administrative assistance for ministerial and parliamentary processes, maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures, enhancing work practices and improving overall performance.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Monitoring project progress, contributing to project planning, and delivering results-oriented outcomes.
Candidate Requirements:
  • High-level administrative expertise in complex environments, combined with strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, liaison, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to use initiative in planning and delivering projects.
  • Exceptional time management and attention to detail, with experience managing contracts and liaising with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in secretariat services or a related field.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Management, Office Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

Australian Citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a national police check. Reasonable adjustments are available upon request.
