We are seeking visionary leaders to join our Board and contribute to the delivery of our strategic plan. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of aged care, disability, and children's services.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a progressive and transformational Board to provide strategic oversight, ensure strong governance, and champion innovation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying Intereach's values and fundamentals in Board decision-making
  • Working collaboratively with Co-CEOs, the Executive, and fellow Directors to set and progress strategic direction
  • Providing strategic expertise in aged care, disability, children's services, or similar sectors
  • Overseeing risk management, governance, and budget monitoring
  • Influencing and developing policy to strengthen community outcomes

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Board Director, Chair, or Deputy Chair
  • Strong strategic thinking, governance, and leadership skills
  • A strong connection to regional and rural communities in Australia
  • Sector expertise in aged care, disability, or children's services
  • Lived experience in community services, healthcare, or education sectors
