As a Helicopter Training and Checking Pilot, you will be part of our specialized team responsible for providing world-class training and standardization to our contract aircrew, as well as third-party personnel and Australian Defence Force pilots and aircrewmen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instructional and examiner duties within our CASR Part 141/142 - Flight Training Organisation and CASR Part 133/138 - Flight Training and Checking Organisation.
  • Operate under our bespoke CASR Part 61.040 approval.
  • Conduct duties at our world-class ACE-TC facility in Sydney, as well as at other contract locations.
  • Maintain operational flying recency through regular operational shifts.

Requirements:

  • ATPL (H)
  • CASA Class 1 Medical
  • Flight Instructor Rating, preferably with TR AW139, IFR and NVIS, or CASA recognition of ADF instructional qualifications (61-2ADF)
  • H145 and/or B429 experience is highly desirable
  • NVIS Grade 1
  • Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating with minimum 3 x renewals
  • Low Level Rating (H) with Winch
  • 2500hrs helicopter
  • 1500hrs PIC turbine helicopter
  • 500hrs PIC M/E helicopter
  • 100hrs PIC AW139
  • Single Pilot HEMS/SAR experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Management / Leadership experience
