Our Brisbane-based Litigation & Dispute Resolution group is seeking a skilled Associate to work on a diverse range of commercial litigation and related dispute matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on high-stakes litigation and dispute cases
  • Assist with the preparation and management of complex files
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and draft critical legal documents
  • Manage the discovery process including collecting, reviewing, and organising sensitive documents and evidence
  • Represent the firm at court appearances and mediations

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of post-admission general litigation experience
  • Excellent technical legal skills
  • Strong commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients
  • Ability to effectively manage time, handle competing tasks, and work to tight deadlines
  • Exceptional drafting skills, particularly in drafting court documents and affidavits
  • Collaborative working style with a focus on teamwork and open communication
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in your career
