Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Trainee to join our Customer Care Credit Assessment team. As a Management Trainee, you will be responsible for managing workflow, completing credit verification checks, and ensuring that lending applications meet the Bank's policies and responsible lending requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage workflow from a central queue in a timely manner
  • Complete credit verification checks to ensure application input meets Bank policies and responsible lending requirements
  • Manage the end-to-end assessment of the lending process through to decision
  • Prepare files and ensure all required documentation is included in submissions
  • Understand key requirements of credit to ensure lending applications are completed in line with Bank policies
  • Understand computer systems to ensure records accurately reflect customer position
  • Work with Credit team to ensure objectives are met in a timely manner
  • Adhere to compliance regulations and manage any potential risks
  • Contribute to process improvement and quality framework
  • Liaise with third-party brokers, clients, and stakeholders
Requirements

We seek a candidate with a Graduate/Bachelor's/Equivalent qualification and prior experience in Retail Banking/Mortgage or Finance industry. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The candidate should be highly proficient in working on MS Office suite and have a good conceptual knowledge and strong exposure to Banking Mortgage Operations. The ability to work independently and manage their respective portfolios within stipulated timelines is essential.
