About the Role

We are seeking a Part-time Maintenance Handyperson to join our team at Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel in Darwin, Australia.

As a Maintenance Handyperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas, as well as carrying out repairs within the property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience;
  • Previous gardening experience;
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary Estimate

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
