We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel in Darwin, Australia.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities and guest rooms are well-maintained and presented in an excellent condition. This includes undertaking general repairs, providing induction and supervision to external contractors, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and maintaining accurate work records.

About the Role

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules.

Requirements

  • A minimum of [Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 AUD] per annum (dependent on experience);
  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience;
  • Previous gardening experience;
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
