Water Treatment Operations Specialist

An exciting opportunity currently exists for a motivated and customer-focused Water Treatment Operations Specialist with experience in water treatment such as Reverse Osmosis Plants, UF, various MMF plants, and media. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide a mixture of Service/Operations support and Account Initiatives, including operations (support) of Mobile Water assets, planned maintenance, service calls, refurbishment of existing plant, and installation of new projects for customers across various markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer and optimise plant performance at customer sites
- Provide direct operations (support) of Mobile Water assets
- Provide process monitoring of Mobile Water plants
- Provide scheduled and unscheduled servicing of a high technical standard
- Prepare and provide Service Quotations to clients
- Carry out refurbishment of existing plant and installation of new projects
- Train and educate customer plant operators on safe/correct operation of their plant
- Prepare detailed service reports for all service work completed on customer sites
- Work in both metro and remote NSW; some overnight travel may be required to support regional customers
Qualifications and Requirements:
- TAFE/trade qualifications (or higher) in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Science Plumbing/Fitting or other relevant areas
- At least 2 years minimum experience in the water treatment industry
- Knowledge of PLC/HMI trouble shooting and programming highly regarded, although not mandatory
- Team player with experience in a customer-facing role
- Intermediate computer/Microsoft Office skills
