Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Water Treatment Expert to join our team in NSW, Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our customers across various markets.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in water treatment, with experience in operating and maintaining Reverse Osmosis Plants, Ultrafiltration (UF), and other types of water treatment facilities. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities- Provide technical support and services to customers across various markets, including maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of water treatment equipment
- Optimise plant performance at customer sites to ensure efficient and effective operation
- Monitor and control water quality parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and provide service quotations to customers, detailing scope of work and associated costs
- Carry out refurbishment and installation of new projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- TAFE / Trade qualifications (or higher) in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Science Plumbing/Fitting or other relevant areas
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the water treatment industry, preferably in a similar role
- Knowledge of PLC/HMI trouble shooting and programming an asset
- Intermediate computer/Microsoft Office skills, with experience in data entry and report preparation
