As an HSEQ Business Partner, you will manage and lead compliance activities for industry operations in Western Australia. You will oversee implementation and maintenance of all HSEQ activities, initiatives, projects and reporting.
- Promote safety first behaviour and a continuous improvement quality culture, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan, consult and manage certification compliance activities incorporating requirements set out by standards, report gaps and inconsistencies: ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 45001 OHS, FSSC, ISO 22000, PICs/GMP.
- Plan, consult, manage and formally report IR compliance activities incorporating requirements set out by IR compliance, report, escalate and support closure of gaps and inconsistencies.
- Assist, manage and maintain local HSEQ associated training and internal inductions; review local Training & Qualification Trackers to identify Operational training gaps or refreshment training needs.
- Manage and maintain local Risk Registers, supporting closure of identified mitigation actions through hazard elimination.
- Coordinate, maintain and report transport activities within the Region.
- Maintain, enhance and support facility security systems and associated risk assessments, implementing improvement programs as needed.
- Act as MOC champion, regularly report and monitor MOC status ensuring timely action closure.
- Ensure new contractors are managed according to prescribed governance.
- Manage incidents, unsafe circumstances or behavior occurring within the Region, including Transport incidents, prompt reporting, analysis, incident alerts and follow-up actions.
- Conduct audits of activities to ensure compliance with IMS Internal audit requirements, identifying areas for improvement and corrective action.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Regulatory Compliance of gas manufacturing and filling plants.
- Knowledge of HSE legislation and regulations, process safety understanding.
- Bachelor of Engineering highly desirable.
- Internal Auditor certificate preferred.
- Internal Audit experience (1-3 years) in QMS, OHS and/or other disciplines.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, demonstrated senior leadership experience.
- Experience executing change programs, leading projects.
- Technical knowledge of ISO 9001, IOS 45001, FSSC, ISO 22000, PICs/GMP certification standards.
- High attention to detail.
