This role plays a vital part in supporting key people and culture initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance on employee matters, including case management and investigations, to ensure a fair and equitable workplace.
  • Supporting enterprise agreement negotiations and change initiatives, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Partnering with leaders to develop and implement effective people strategies, driving business outcomes and growth.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and union representatives, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and annual people and culture activities, promoting a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Promoting a culture of safety, integrity, and service excellence throughout the organization.

What you need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Generalist HR role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or Organisational Psychology, with a focus on human resources and organisational development.
  • Experience working within a People & Culture (P&C) team, with exposure to Employee Relations (ER) and corporate project work.
  • Proven ability to manage complex HR cases, investigations, and provide consultative support to business leaders.
