Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Condition Monitoring Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing required condition monitoring activities within the company's health, safety, environmental, and asset management policies.

About the Job

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity on an 8:6 roster, from Perth to our mine site at Mt Holland. As a member of our Maintenance Reliability Engineering team, you will work closely with other departments to ensure effective working relationships and support planned and breakdown maintenance to maximise reliability and quality of fixed plant assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Condition Monitoring Program Development: Develop the Condition Monitoring program complementing proactive maintenance plans, tactics, and safe work instructions.
  • Predictive Maintenance Programs: Manage vibration, lubrication, and thermography based predictive maintenance programs including on-site data collection, analysis, and recommendations for rotating equipment.
  • Equipment Performance Tracking: Establish suitable reporting systems and KPI tracking to effectively monitor equipment performance.
  • Maintenance Support: Provide maintenance support to other departments as required.
  • Health and Safety Culture: Active participation in the establishment of a health and safety culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Five Years' Experience: Five years' fixed plant maintenance experience with conveyors, ball mills, crushers, apron feeders, screens, pumps, DMS, flotation, etc.
  • Vibration Analysis: Experience in vibration analysis and associated software.
  • Database Management: Experience in database management, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Certification: Relevant Trade qualification and Certificate III in Condition Monitoring.
