Centacare North Queensland seeks a passionate and dedicated professional for a permanent, full-time role in Mount Isa with outreach to Normanton and Cloncurry.
This position involves providing therapeutic services to families and young people. The ideal candidate will have experience working therapeutically with children and young people who have experienced trauma.
The successful applicant will possess a relevant degree in social work or psychology and be able to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
They will also have the ability to undertake risk assessments relating to suicidal ideation and child protection concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in program planning, review monitoring and evaluation activities, to ensure efficient service provision.
- Manage program processes and ensure team members are working within these frameworks.
- Complete casework to a high standard and foster this capacity in others.
- Coach, mentor and motivate team members to achieve program goals.
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain comprehensive client records.
- SCHADS L5 Salary + Location Allowance of $5,000 pa.
