IT Project Manager Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT project manager to oversee the transition of ICT services from an internal arrangement to a shared service model. The successful candidate will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of this complex transition, ensuring continuity of services and alignment with agency objectives.

This role is based at Government House in Canberra and involves working standard hours of 7.5 hours per day.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Financial Management: Proven experience monitoring and maintaining financial records, assisting with budgeting and financial planning, and providing decision-making data.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead medium-scale ICT projects from initiation to completion, managing change control, risk, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management across technical and non-technical teams.
