About This Role

We are seeking an individual with a caring nature to join our team as a Personal Care and Activities Assistant.

This role involves providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need, helping them to live with dignity and purpose.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meal assistance
  • Supporting individuals to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities
  • Facilitating engaging group and one-on-one activities tailored to individual interests and abilities
  • Assisting with transport and mobility to and from activities (if required)
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and care/activity records

The successful candidate will have:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) or equivalent qualification
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Manual handling and infection control training
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including with people living with dementia
  • Experience providing personal care in aged care, disability, or community settings
