Healthcare Manager

The Health Services Manager is a key leadership position within the Health Services Section, responsible for providing strategic direction and management of comprehensive primary and population health care services. This role requires a strong understanding of cultural integrity and high standards of clinical care and client flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses, Doctors, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, and Allied Health Professionals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Miwatj program integration and visiting health providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a remote or regional community.
- Understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and the issues faced by Yolŋu people living in remote settings.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary of $131,739 - $137,268 per annum + 11% Superannuation.
- Fully subsidized housing and electricity.

- Miwatj Annual Leave Travel Assistance (MALTA) of $2,179.89 gross per annum.
- Retention bonus starting at $10,000 per year (subject to meeting the eligibility criteria).
- Relocation assistance up to $10,712.00.
- Ability to salary package up to $15,900 per annum plus a further $2,650 per annum on Meals and Entertainment.
- Three return airfares from Ramingining to either Darwin or an alternative destination that incurs a cost equivalent to or less than a return airfare to Darwin.
