About the Role

The Department is seeking a skilled Digital Advisor to support the delivery of education and development services to children, young people, and adults. The successful candidate will work closely with the Digital Strategy and User Experience Manager to deliver high-quality intranet content that meets best practice digital and knowledge management standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and improve content against digital standards and accessibility requirements
  • Provide expert advice on accessibility and assist content owners in adopting best practices
  • Format content into correct styles and heading structures
  • Conduct technical checks on content, including broken link checking
  • Assist with digital communications activities as required
Requirements
  • Experience with content management systems and basic knowledge of HTML, analytics, image manipulation, and optimization
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and online communication current practices and trends
  • Expertise in developing and quality-assuring digital communications to enhance user experience and deliver targeted messaging
  • Public sector experience is preferred, and a tertiary qualification in fields related to digital marketing or communications is required
