Job Opportunity in Cheese Production

About the Role

Experienced cheese makers are required to join our production team at a local manufacturing plant.

The successful candidate will have a high level understanding of the cheese making process and pasteurization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High level understanding of cheese making process and pasteurisation;
  • Responding to milk, curd, and cheese throughout process to yield;
  • Maintaining appropriate records and close monitoring of daily production process by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for batching and processing our products;
  • Recording and reporting necessary information i.e. performance / downtime / Safety;
  • Coordinating break times to minimise impact to cheese production;
  • Accurate printing out and recording of all work orders; and
  • Liaising with maintenance team regarding machine efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • High level understanding of cheese making process and pasteurisation;
  • Ability to respond to milk, curd, and cheese throughout process to yield;
  • Excellent record-keeping and communication skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills;
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations;
