Seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychologist to join our team in Regional NSW.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Psychologist to work in a holistic Mental Health Services program, providing critical incident support, short-term counselling services, and referral pathways to care. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working closely with Senior Psychologists, Peer Support Program Coordinators, Peer Support Officers, and Chaplains.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver state-wide and area-based mental health prevention, promotion, intervention, and recovery services to NSW RFS staff and volunteers.
- Provide trauma-informed assessment, formulation, and interventions for people with mild to moderate mental health conditions.
- Implement programs to support better member mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Provide psychoeducation and/or mental health and wellbeing content in a group setting.
- Degree in Psychology or related field.
- Provisional Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for Provisional Registration.
- Experience working as an effective team member within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to provide trauma-informed assessment and interventions.
- Applied experience in implementing programs to support better member mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Ongoing employment with a competitive annual salary of $93,515 - $138,750 plus 10.5% superannuation.
