About this role

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented engineer to join our team of water sector specialists.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in hydraulic analyses and be able to develop scopes of work to support business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior team members and work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop project engineering and technical leadership skills, taking lead roles in project delivery.
  • Buildd strong customer relationships and ensure that services meet client expectations.

About You:

  • Applicants will be driven by a diversity of experiences and seeking fulfillment in autonomy and career flexibility.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence successful project outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and Chartered Professional Engineer registration is required.
  • Experience in water conveyance and hydraulic engineering, including large diameter pipelines and networks, pump stations, treatment plants, and hydraulic structures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer registration.
  • Experience in water conveyance and hydraulic engineering.

Skills:

  • Hydraulic analyses, including pressurised pipelines and networks, fluid transients, and design of mitigation measures.
  • Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

Software Proficiency:

  • Experience with hydraulic software, such as Infoworks WS and ICM, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, EPANET, EPA SWMM, Fluidflow, Fathom, Hytran, Impulse, Hammer.
