We are seeking an Accounts Officer to provide exceptional bookkeeping services, including invoicing, receipting, and debtor management.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Process online banking transactions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and process business banking statements, ensuring timely reconciliations
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Manage accounts receivable, communicating with customers to ensure timely payments in accordance with the business's terms
- Enter all financial information into Client Management System (Home Care Package program) for easy tracking and analysis
- Paying bills as required and maintaining accurate accounts payable documentation
- Follow up on unpaid bill details and uncategorised expenses, ensuring prompt payment or resolution
- Creditors and Debtors Management:
- Maintain accurate creditor records, paying bills as required and communicating with suppliers regarding outstanding credits
- Organise and manage debtors' lists, ensuring timely follow-up with customers to resolve overdue accounts
- Data Entry and Administration:
- Accurately enter all financial information into the system, ensuring data integrity and consistency
- E-mail invoices, seek approval for payment and maintain internal filing systems
