Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our Scrub/Scout Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the team's activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Scrub/Scout Team to achieve high-quality perioperative nursing care.
  • Ensure governance of practice in adherence to relevant standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Manage resources including procurement and human resources.
  • Participate and contribute to the Procedural Areas Leadership Team.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with the Nurses Board of South Australia and holds a current Practising Certificate with no restrictions.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in the Scrub/Scout area.
  • Experience in resource and cost management.
  • Experience in human resource management principles including rostering, performance management, and team development.
  • A desire to work as part of a team committed to exceptional clinical care standards and embracing change management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Improvement practices.
