Perioperative Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced nurses to join our team in a dynamic perioperative environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for Perioperative trained/experienced nurses to work in Theatre, specialising in Orthopaedic, General, Gynae, ENT, Endoscopy, Plastics, Urology and Ophthalmology.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and interdependently as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nursing Care Coordination: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Clinical Leadership: Take an active role in the coordination of nursing and healthcare ensuring they practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year experience Perioperative Nursing.
  • Current APHRA certification.
  • Post-grad qualifications in Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetic/Recovery with relevant clinical knowledge and expertise highly desirable.
  • Ability and drive to be adaptable and a 'Team Player.'
  • Drive to learn and expand knowledge base, as well as guide and support other staff.
