Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver project requirements according to agreed schedules consistent with industry standards and quality expectations.

  • Maintain mechanical engineering standards across all projects, ensuring consistency and excellence in design and delivery.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and peers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.

  • Recommend improvements to engineering systems and processes, driving innovation and efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain industry networks and contacts, enhancing the company's reputation and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a range of mechanical engineering skills, particularly piping and pressure vessel design, and analysis of static equipment.

  • Experience in carrying out mechanical engineering design and documentation from concept through to construction stage, with attention to detail and precision.

  • Experience working in oil and gas facilities or similar heavy industries, with knowledge of relevant safety protocols and regulations.

  • Experience in development, application, and preservation of engineering and design standards, systems, and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in using PVElite and AutoPIPE or other equivalent design software, with ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

  • Experience generating accurate and detailed engineering estimates and quotations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.

  • Hold a Mechanical or Mechatronics degree or equivalent experience/qualifications, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science.
