About the Role
As an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, your primary responsibility will be to receive and process emergency phone calls, providing lifesaving advice and guidance to callers. You will work closely with paramedics and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and process emergency phone calls, providing critical care advice and guidance to callers
* Work closely with paramedics and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and well-being
* Utilize advanced software systems to manage emergency responses and track patient information
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high-quality patient outcomes and improve response times
Requirements
* Valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to remain calm under pressure
* Proficient in using multiple software systems and technology platforms
* Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating roster, including night shifts and weekends
Benefits
* Competitive salary range: $71,785 - $85,151 per annum, plus allowances and shift penalties
