Economics Consultant Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled economics consultant to work in our Sydney office. As an economics consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing complex economic data and developing strategies to drive business growth.

This role offers the opportunity to work with various clients across different industries, including finance, government, and private sector organizations. You will have the chance to apply your analytical skills and knowledge of economics to real-world problems and develop innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics and/or public policy, with experience in consulting, government, or a related field. They will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and analyzing economic data to identify trends and patterns
  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth
  • Working with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience in economics and/or public policy within a consulting, government, or private sector context
  • Tertiary qualification in a quantitative or economics-based discipline (such as Mathematics, Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, or Finance)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with expertise in other analytical tools desirable
