Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Scientist position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated diagnostic testing, routine procedures from specimen reception to results, assisting with stock control, maintaining records and equipment in line with protocols, contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement, participating in staff training and liaising with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and quality procedures.

  • This role requires the ability to identify and implement quality improvements, high level of independence and commitment to quality, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a busy environment and problem-solve, attention to detail and accuracy.
About You

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor of Science, Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science), or equivalent qualification. You should also possess experience and skills in the discipline, knowledge of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to identify and implement quality improvements.

  • Additional requirements include a high level of independence and commitment to quality, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a busy environment and problem-solve, and attention to detail and accuracy.
