
Strategic Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Strategist to spearhead our supply management function.
This pivotal role will lead all aspects of supply, including procurement, supply chain planning, and logistics across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement Excellence
- Develop and implement best-in-class procurement processes through a consistent Source to Contract process supported by the implementation and adoption of advanced systems.
- Lead the development of the team to secure market-leading outcomes aimed at improving business profitability.
- Supply Chain Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute a supply chain vision aligned with Australian growth and global strategies along with the team.
- Support the company's future direction and tactical initiatives.
- Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
- Drive the adoption of enhanced supply chain planning to optimise demand and supply.
- Ensure compliance with governance, audits, policies, and legislation.
- Provide tools to support effective financial management.
- Commercial & Supplier Relationship Management
- Build strategic partnerships and lead supplier negotiations to maximise value.
- Drive supplier consolidation and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
- Team Leadership & Culture
- Provide leadership and coaching to develop a high-performing supply management team.
- Champion corporate values, diversity, and social responsibility.
- Bid Support & Customer Service
- Ensure supply chain involvement in bid processes to maximise success.
- Maintain service levels and adapt to changing customer needs.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field; post-graduate qualifications are preferred.
- CIPS or industry-recognised supply chain certifications are desirable.
- Strong experience in mature procurement environments in a leadership role.
- Experience in planning, S&OP, and IBP.
- Minimum 5 years executive leadership experience in Procurement and/or Supply functions.
- Proven ability to manage supply chains across wide geographic areas and global environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated success in change management and project delivery.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with strong multitasking capabilities.
