The North West Diabetes Centre is seeking an experienced and skilled nurse practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality care to patients with diabetes.
- Job Description: The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team to develop, provide, and evaluate diabetes clinical/community nursing care that ensures optimal patient/client/family and community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate diabetes clinical/community nursing care that meets the needs of patients, clients, families, and communities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical service outcomes through effective research and quality improvement activities.
- Contribute to statewide and nationally in research, publication, and education in the specialty of diabetes.
- Lead, advise, and mentor other senior nurses practicing in the field of diabetes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Endorsement to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Australia.
- Advanced competence in evidence-based nursing practice in diabetes, with an awareness and understanding of internal and external service needs.
