Senior Diabetes Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in managing complex type 2 diabetes in adults, adolescents, and children. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and improve clinical service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Nurse Practitioner - Diabetes, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients with diabetes, including those with type 1 and complex type 2 diabetes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality clinical/community nursing care to ensure optimal patient/client/family and community outcomes.
- Drawing upon your professional competencies to improve clinical service outcomes through effective research and quality improvement activities.
- Leading, advising, and mentoring other senior nurses practicing in the field of diabetes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Endorsement to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Australia
- Advanced competence in evidence-based nursing practice in diabetes
