Key Responsibilities:

As a Nurse Practitioner - Diabetes, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients with diabetes, including those with type 1 and complex type 2 diabetes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality clinical/community nursing care to ensure optimal patient/client/family and community outcomes.
  • Drawing upon your professional competencies to improve clinical service outcomes through effective research and quality improvement activities.
  • Leading, advising, and mentoring other senior nurses practicing in the field of diabetes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Endorsement to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Australia
  • Advanced competence in evidence-based nursing practice in diabetes
