About the Role

The Banking and Treasury Analyst is a key position within our Investment Advisory practice, providing high-quality banking support to our clients. This role requires a strong administrative background, with experience in banking or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client batches within our banking system, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Obtain current account balances and prepare authorization sheets for client transactions.
  • Ensure payment cut-off times are met, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Create new term deposits with our banking partners, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Maintain records of existing deposits in our Xplan system, ensuring up-to-date information.
  • Receive and prepare cheques, verifying requests and ensuring accurate processing.
  • Write manual cheques and obtain authorized signatories, maintaining a high level of security.
  • Print reconciliation reports and sign off completed bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Filing all relevant paperwork as required, maintaining a organized and efficient workflow.

Requirements

  • Proven administrative experience in a banking or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of banking systems and processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience working with financial planning software (e.g. Xplan).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
