Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Campaign Strategist to lead the development and implementation of our destination marketing campaigns.

This role will be responsible for driving the strategy, direction, and execution of our seasonal and always-on campaigns, with the goal of growing visitation and enhancing brand presence.


About The Opportunity
  • Develop and implement campaign strategies that align with our business objectives;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns;
  • Provide strategic advice on campaign direction, brand execution, and marketing best practice;
  • Contribute to the development of our destination marketing strategy and annual communications plan;
  • Manage budgets, media planning, and performance reporting to ensure optimal campaign ROI;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of campaign strategies and plans;
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns;
  • Oversee budgeting, media planning, and performance reporting for campaigns;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders;
  • Provide expert advice on campaign direction, brand execution, and marketing best practice.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field;
  • At least seven years' experience in integrated marketing campaigns;
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-impact campaigns across digital, social, content, print, and outdoor media;
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end campaign strategy and execution, including budgeting, media planning, and performance reporting;
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience managing external agencies and internal partnerships;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
Eligibility
  • Right to work in Australia;
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
